Rule 28-4005 - MEMBERSHIP ON THE SCIENCE ADVISORY BOARD; ELECTION OF CHAIRPERSON

4005.1

As provided in Section 12(a) of the DFS Establishment Act (D.C. Official Code § 5-1501.11(a) ), the Board is composed of nine (9) voting members, as well as the Director and Deputy Director of the Department as ex officio, non-voting members.

4005.2

The Board shall elect a chairperson from among its voting members, who shall serve for a term of one (1) year.

(a) A chairperson may be re-elected by the Board to serve consecutive one (1) year terms.

(b) No chairperson shall be permitted to serve for more than three (3) terms.
