Section 29-23a-8 - Emergencies(a) In the event of emergency, the state police troop supervisor on duty or his or her designee shall determine the most expeditious method of obtaining wrecker service. In making such determination, consideration may be given to weather conditions, traffic density and speed, the number of other calls for police services and the availability of police personnel.(b) If a wrecker operator is summoned out of rotational sequence due to an emergency, the wrecker operator summoned shall be considered to have received its next rotational call.Conn.
