Section 140.37 - Facsimile Filings(1) Each fax filing must be presented with a fax cover sheet downloaded from the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth's website. The filings must be on forms authorized in M.G.L. c. 106, §§ 9-521 (a) and (b) or any form prescribed by the filing office.(2) The filing must be accompanied by the appropriate fee as provided in 950 CMR 140.08.(3) The filing is automatically scanned and indexed on the UCC information management system upon transmission. The image is reviewed to determine whether the filing will be accepted or rejected. The procedures for social security numbers, acknowledgments and rejections are the same as provided for paper transactions.
