Computation of any time period referred to in 314 CMR 2.00 shall begin with the first day following the act that triggers the commencement of the time period. If the last day of the time period falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or Massachusetts government holiday, then the time period shall run until the end of the next Massachusetts government business day. When the time period is seven days or fewer, intervening Saturdays, Sundays and Massachusetts government holidays shall be excluded from the time period.
