Section 70970 - Applicability(a) This article applies to reportable adverse events in general acute care hospitals and special hospitals pursuant to subdivision (a) of Health and Safety Code section 1279.1.(b) For the purposes of this Article: (1) General acute care hospitals and special hospitals shall be called "hospital" and include any outpatient services on the hospital's license.(2) The "hospital" does not include a distinct part operated pursuant to section 70503 or 70627.Cal.
