Section 50525 - Public Assistance and General Relief Grants(a) Public assistance cash grants shall be exempt.(b) In addition to public assistance cash grants, the following cash payments from county agencies are exempt:(1) Special circumstances payments provided to SSI/SSP recipients pursuant to EAS regulations.(2) Emergency loans provided to SSI/SSP recipients pursuant to EAS regulations.(3) General Relief or General Assistance payments.(4) Cash value of food stamps.(5) Immediate need payments provided to AFDC recipients pursuant to EAS 40-129.Cal.
