The following language is effective October 1, 2024:
Appointing authorities may enter into agreements with restaurants, hotels, and lodging establishments for the furnishing of lodging and/or meals to state employees at or below the rates provided in these regulations when such method of handling is advantageous to the state. When such agreements are entered into, the vendor may receive payment either from the employee, a group leader, or by billing the state on a regular itemized invoice.
