Section 330.50 - Electronic Maintenance of Records(a) When a registration service electronically maintains any of the records required to be retained by Section 11406 of the Vehicle Code and Sections 330.32, 330.42 and 330.46, it shall be indicated on the original application required by Section 330.02.(b) When a registration service, subsequent to the submission of the original application to the department, initiates electronic maintenance for any of the records required to be retained by Section 11406 of the Vehicle Code and Sections 330.32, 330.42 and 330.46, the registration service shall notify the department in writing not later than 10 days after beginning electronic maintenance.(1) The notification shall include the address of the principal place of business or any branch office initiating electronic maintenance with the effective date of the maintenance.(c) Any registration service electronically maintaining records required to be retained by Section 11406 of the Vehicle Code and Sections 330.32, 330.42 and 330.46, shall provide to the department at no charge a paper copy of the business records at any business location specified by the department.
