Section 190.30 - Department Agent's Authorization(a) Agents authorized by the department under Vehicle Code Section 9858 to accept registration applications of undocumented vessels shall be known as Undocumented Vessel Registration Agents. The appointment of such agents shall be at the pleasure of the department and they shall serve without compensation from the department.(b) Undocumented Vessel Registration Agents may charge their customers a documentary preparation fee pursuant to Vehicle Code Section 9858.1.Cal.
