Section 482-2-101-.04 - Severability; Conflict With State Statutes Or Laws(1) The provisions of this chapter are severable. If any provision or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid for any reason, the invalidity shall not affect the other provisions or any other application of this chapter which can be given effect without the invalid provisions or application.(2) Any portion of any code adopted in this chapter which conflicts with Alabama statutes or law will be interpreted, applied, or enforced so as to conform with such statutes or law if practicable, or will be deemed null and void only to the extent of such conflict if conflict cannot be avoided. Invalidity of a portion of an adopted code due to conflict with Alabama statutes or law shall not affect the validity of the remainder of the code.Ala. Admin. Code r. 482-2-101-.04
