This notice contains a summary of a petition seeking relief from specified requirements of Federal Aviation Regulations. Description of Relief Sought: Boeing seeks relief to allow drainage provisions on the plug portion of the engine exhaust assembly (the “long” exhaust configuration) on a limited number of Boeing Model 737-600, -700, -700C, -800, -900, and -900ER (collectively known as 737NG) airplanes, line numbers 1 thru 3761; as well as allow operators to install the long exhaust configuration with drainage provisions on these airplanes for line numbers greater than line number 3761.
