ACTION:

Notice of petition for exemption received.

SUMMARY:

This notice contains a summary of a petition seeking relief from specified requirements of Title 14, Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR). The purpose of this notice is to improve the public's awareness of, and participation in, this aspect of the FAA's regulatory activities. Neither publication of this notice nor the inclusion or omission of information in the summary is intended to affect the legal status of the petition or its final disposition.

Comments on this petition must identify the petition docket number involved and must be received on or before April 11, 2013.

Petition For Exemption

Docket No.: FAA-2012-0396.

Petitioner: Fokker50Freighter STC Corp.

Section of 14 CFR Affected: § 25.841(a) & (b)(6).

Description of Relief Sought: Request relief to operate its Fokker Model F27 Mark 050 airplanes as modified by supplemental type certificate ST01916LA with increased operating altitude from 20,000 feet pressure altitude to 25,000 feet pressure altitude. This relief will result in an increase in cabin pressure altitude from 8,000 to 11,300 feet.
