Section 74.751(d) requires that licensees of low power TV or TV translator stations place in the station records a certification that the installation of new or replacement transmitting equipment complies in all respects with the technical requirements of this section and the station authorization. The notifications and certifications of equipment changes are used by FCC staff to assure that the equipment changes made are in full compliance with the technical requirements of this section and the station authorizations and will not cause interference to other authorized stations. 47 CFR 74.751(c) was amended as a result of the reorganization of the Cable Services Bureau and the Mass Media Bureau and the establishment of the Media Bureau. In the Order, DA 02-577, In the Matter of Establishment of the Media Bureau and Other Organizational Changes, released March 14, 2002, certain editorial changes were necessary to conform the rules in Part 74 of the Code of Federal Regulations with the new name of the Media Bureau. Other than the editorial changes to the new name, Media Bureau, there was no impact on the rule itself.

Federal Communications Commission.
