On March 10, 2022, FEMA announced a series of meetings to be held pursuant to section 708(h)(8) of the Defense Production Act (DPA), 50 U.S.C. 4558(h)(8). The meeting scheduled for March 2, 2022, took place as planned, but in light of other efforts to address the draft recommendations of the National Multimodal Healthcare Supply Chains Plan of Action, as well as incremental improvement in the overall multimodal transportation situation, the Sponsor of the Voluntary Agreement, the FEMA Administrator, no longer sees the need to conduct the other meetings, and has cancelled them.
