SUMMARY:

In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, FAA invites public comments about our intention to request the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval to renew an information collection. The Federal Register Notice with a 60-day comment period soliciting comments on the following collection of information was published on May 11, 2010, vol. 75, no. 90, page 26318. The FAA has initiated customer service surveys throughout the agency, requiring that every element have contact with their customers to assure that their needs are being met and that service is improved.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

OMB Control Number: 2120-0568.

Title: Flight Standards Customer Satisfaction Survey.

Form Numbers: There are no FAA forms associated with this collection.

Type of Review: Renewal of a currently-approved information collection.

Background: The FAA has initiated customer service surveys throughout the agency, requiring that every element have contact with their customers to assure that their needs are being met and that service is improved. Survey data collected from Flight Standards customers are analyzed by Flight Standards Service, Organizational Resources and Program Management Division, and the General Aviation, Commercial and Maintenance Divisions.

Affected Public: An estimated 5,000 respondents.

Frequency: The information is collected on occasion.

Estimated Average Burden per Response: Approximately 10 minutes per response.

Estimated Total Annual Burden: An estimated 542 hours annually.

The agency will summarize and/or include your comments in the request for OMB's clearance of this information collection.
