Summary
In Boyd v. Parke, 1997 WL 374846, at *3 (7th Cir. June 24, 1997), the Seventh Circuit held that a petitioner was no longer in custody because his disciplinary sanction had expired; however, Boyd is distinguishable because it only involved a challenge to disciplinary segregation, a sanction that had no effect on the duration of the petitioner's custody.
