JUDGMENT Termination of the Proceeding 35 U.S.C. § 317(a); 37 C.F.R. § 42.72 Cases IPR2014-01394 and IPR2014-01395 Patents 7,303,992 B2 and 7,815,786 B2 2 The parties have requested that this proceeding be terminated pursuant to settlement of the dispute regarding U.S. Patent No. 7,303,992 B2 and U.S. Patent No. 7,815,786 B2. Paper 7 in IPR2014-01394, Paper 7 in IPR2014- 01395. With their motion to terminate, the parties also filed a copy of a written settlement agreement (Ex. 1120 in IPR2014-01394, Ex. 1124 in IPR2014-01395) that they request be kept confidential. Paper 8 in IPR2014- 01394, Paper 8 in IPR2014-01395. We have not instituted a trial in this proceeding. Under these circumstances, we determine that it is appropriate to enter judgment and terminate without rendering a final written decision. 37 C.F.R. § 42.72. Accordingly, it is ORDERED that the joint motion to terminate the proceeding is granted; and FURTHER ORDERED that the joint request that the settlement agreement (Ex. 1120 in IPR2014-01394, Ex. 1124 in IPR2014-01395) be treated as business confidential information and be kept separate from the file of the involved patents under the provisions of 35 U.S.C. § 317(b) and 37 C.F.R. § 42.74(c), is granted.
