DECISION AND CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE
The National Labor Relations Board has considered a challenged ballot to a secret-ballot
election held May 13, 2015, and the Hearing Officer's report recommending disposition of it.
The election was conducted pursuant to a Stipulated Election Agreement. The revised tally of
ballots shows 9 ballots cast for the Petitioner, and 8 ballots cast against the participating labor
organization. There was 1 challenged ballot, a sufficient number to affect the results.
No exceptions have been filed to the hearing officer's report within the time provided.
Accordingly, the Board adopts the hearing officer's findings and recommendations, and finds
that a certification of representative should be issued. 1

1 The Hearing Officer recommended that the challenged ballot of Beth Fitzgerald be sustained,
and that her ballot not be opened and counted.

CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE
IT IS CERTIFIED that a majority of the valid ballots have been cast for International
Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts
Local 8 and that it is the exclusive collective-bargaining representative of the employees in the
following appropriate unit:
Included: All full-time and regular part-time stagehands, board operators,
lighting technicians, sound technicians, prop employees, wardrobe employees,
and production managers employed by the Employer at its 104 East State Street,
Media, PA facility, who are working on the current production or who have
worked in these positions on at least three productions between January 1, 2014
and April 12, 2015.
Excluded: All other employees, stitchers, clerical employees, managers,
guards, and supervisors as defined by the Act.
