Section 2001.356 - Notice of Temporary Suspension(a) A proceeding to temporarily suspend a license issued under this chapter is initiated by the director of bingo operations by serving notice to the license holder informing the holder of:(1) the alleged violations that constitute grounds for temporary suspension;(2) the rules adopted by the commission regarding the prehearing temporary suspension process; and(3) the license holder's right to a hearing before the commission.(b) The notice must be: (1) personally served on an officer, operator, or agent of the license holder; or(2) sent by certified or registered mail, return receipt requested, to the license holder's mailing address as it appears on the commission's records.(c) If a notice of temporary suspension is served on a license holder, the director of bingo operations shall simultaneously serve notice of a hearing, to be held not later than the 14th day after the date the notice is served, at which the license holder must show cause why the license should not be temporarily suspended on the 14th day after the date the notice is served. If the license holder does not show cause, the license is suspended.Tex. Occ. Code § 2001.356
