Section 45:9-37.22 - Requirements for licensure as physical therapist To be eligible for licensure as a physical therapist, an applicant shall:
a. Have completed a program in physical therapy from an accredited college or university which has been approved by the board;b. Successfully complete a written examination approved by the board;c. Possess at least a master's degree from an accredited college or university, except for an applicant who prior to January 1, 2003, possessed a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university;d. Have experience satisfactory to the board, in accordance with regulations of the board;e. Be at least 18 years of age;f. Be of good moral character; andg. Meet such other requirements as may be established by the board by regulation.Amended by L. 2003, c. 18, s. 8, eff. 2/13/2003.
