Section 15-7-107 - Certification required(1) An appraiser employed by the department to appraise: (a) residential property shall obtain a certificate in appraising residential property;(b) agricultural land shall obtain a certificate in appraising agricultural land; and(c) commercial and industrial property shall obtain a certificate in appraising commercial and industrial property.(2) The department may promulgate rules requiring appraisers to complete continuing education courses in laws, rules, and methods relating to appraisal.En.
