Section 330.1427b - Liability of peace officer or security transport officer(1) A peace officer or security transport officer acting under this act has the same immunity provided for a governmental employee under section 7 of 1964 PA 170, MCL 691.1407.(2) Neither a county nor a county mental health transportation panel is civilly liable for an act or omission of a security transport officer or a private security company contracted with a county under section 170.Amended by 2022, Act 214,s 8, eff. 10/14/2022.Amended by 2022, Act 146,s 10, eff. 3/29/2023.Add. 1978, Act 598, Imd.
