§ 936. Power to conduct investigations

The Committee may exercise all the powers and prerogatives granted to it by the laws and regulations of the Legislature of Puerto Rico, in order to ensure due compliance of the laws and regulations approved for the granting of legislative donations. Likewise, it may consider, investigate, process and adjucate complaints and may direct compliance with the applicable laws in those cases in which any natural or juridical person, or any semipublic or private entity denies, hinders or otherwise impairs an investigation or audit or other related matters of the Committee to ensure compliance with the purposes of the legislation approved for these cases.
