Section 19-2.5-1514 - Juvenile detention bed cap

For the fiscal year 2021-22 and each fiscal year thereafter, the number of available juvenile detention beds statewide is limited to two hundred fifteen.

(1) This section is similar to former § 19-2-1201 as it existed prior to 2021.

(2) Subsections (4) and (5) were numbered as § 19-2-1201(4) and (5) in SB 21-071 (see L. 2021, p. 3335). Those provisions were harmonized with this section as it appears in SB 21-059.
