Section 6-16-118 - High school equivalency testing for adults - Fees - Definition(a) As used in this section, "high school equivalency test" means the General Education Development (GED) test of the GED Testing Service or another test used to assess high school core subject competencies.(b) A high school equivalency test for adults shall be administered by the educational agencies and institutions approved by the Adult Education Section.(c) The Career Education and Workforce Development Board may approve fees for: (1) Administering a high school equivalency test;(2) Administering other assessments; and(3) Photocopying or duplicating a transcript or diploma.(d) The board shall promulgate rules to implement this section.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 138, eff. 7/1/2019.Amended by Act 2015, No. 1115,§ 3, eff. 7/22/2015.Amended by Act 2013, No. 1063,§ 1, eff. 8/16/2013.Acts 1981, No. 732, § 4; A.S.A. 1947, § 80-1671; Acts 1993, No. 294, § 10; 1993, No. 1079, § 1; 1999, No. 1078, § 56.
