A violation of this regulation or violation of any permit, order, or standard subjects the person to the issuance of a Department order, or a civil or criminal enforcement action in accordance with S.C. Code Section 44-96-450. In addition, the Department may impose reasonable civil penalties not to exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) for each day of violation of the provisions of this regulation, including violation of any order, permit or standard.
