Section 47.1a - Qualifications for supervisorsTo qualify as a supervisor, an individual shall meet one of the following criteria:
(1) Hold a license as a clinical social worker and have 5 years of experience within the last 10 years as a clinical social worker.(2) Hold a license and a master's or doctoral degree in a related field, and have 5 years experience within the last 10 years in that field.(3) Until January 1, 2006, the following criteria: (i) Practices as a clinical social worker.(ii) Have 5 years experience within the last 10 years as a clinical social worker.(iii) Hold a license to practice as a social worker in this Commonwealth.The provisions of this §47.1a adopted March 1, 2002, effective 3/2/2002, 32 Pa.B. 1197.The provisions of this §47.1a issued under section 6(2) of the Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors Act (63 P.S. § 1906(2)).
