Section 247.13 - Services available to individualsThe agency will maintain written policies covering the scope and nature of each of the vocational rehabilitation services available and the criteria, under which each service will be provided to achieve an employment outcome. Services will be based on the rehabilitation needs of the individual and will be consistent with the individual's informed choice. The following vocational rehabilitation services shall be available to individuals as components of a planned vocational program, subject to the conditions set forth in section 247.14 of this Part:
(a) assessment for determining eligibility, priority for services and vocational rehabilitation needs;(b) vocational rehabilitation counseling, guidance and referral;(c) physical and mental restoration services;(d) vocational and other training services;(g) vocational rehabilitation services to members of an individual's family necessary to enable the individual to achieve an employment outcome;(h) interpreter services for individuals who are deaf and tactile interpreting services for individuals who are deaf-blind;(i) reader services, rehabilitation teaching services, and orientation and mobility services for individuals who are blind;(j) recruitment and training services to provide new employment opportunities in rehabilitation, health, welfare, public safety, law enforcement and other appropriate public service employment;(k) job-related services, including job search and placement assistance, job retention services, follow-up services, and follow-along services;(l) post-employment services;(m) occupational licenses, tools, equipment, initial stocks and supplies;(n) personal assistance services;(o) supported employment services;(p) rehabilitation technology;(q) transition services; and(r) other goods and services necessary for the individual with a disability to achieve an employment outcome.N.Y.
