Section 8.321.11.68 - ELECTRICAL CORDS AND RECEPTACLESA.Electrical cords and extension cords shall:(2) be replaced as soon as they show wear;(3) be plugged into an electrical receptacle within the room where used;(4) not be used as a general wiring method; and(5) not be used in series.B.Electrical receptacles shall:(1) Be duplex-grounded type electrical receptacles (convenience outlets) and installed in all areas in sufficient quantities for tasks to be performed as needed.(2) Be a ground fault circuit interrupter if located within six feet of a water source.C.
