Section 616C.092 - Determination of unreasonable delay or refusal to pay claimTo determine whether an insurer has unreasonably delayed or refused to pay a claim for compensation for the purposes of subsection 4 of NRS 616C.065, the Administrator will consider:
1. The reasons set forth by the insurer for making payment after the time specified in subsection 1 of NRS 616C.065 or for refusing to make payment;2. The efforts made by the insurer to make payment within the time specified in subsection 1 of NRS 616C.065;3. The date on which payment was actually made by the insurer; and4. Any other circumstance that the Administrator deems relevant to determine whether a delay in or refusal to make payment was unreasonable.Nev. Admin. Code § 616C.092
