Section R. 299.2354 - Use of surface water for drillingRule 2354.
(1) Surface water shall not be used for drilling fluid, except as provided in subrule (2) of this rule.(2) A request to use surface water for drilling a well may be made as part of the application for a permit to drill. The supervisor of mineral wells may approve the use of surface water for drilling a well.Mich. Admin. Code R. 299.2354
