Section 15-217-38 - Purpose(a) To translate the urban road classifications defined in the mauka area plan into standards for the pedestrian zone.(b) To prioritize the pedestrian over vehicular transportation modes in thoroughfare planning and design, through the provision of ample sidewalk amenities and a hierarchy of sidewalk sizes.(c) To provide standards for promenade streets and view corridors.
