Rule 475-3-.07 - Notification to Officials(1) When the Board issues a parole order, a notice of parole will within 72 hours be sent to the presiding judge, district attorney, and sheriff of the county of conviction and to the sheriff of the county of the parolee's last residence if this was in Georgia.(3) When the Board seriously considers commuting an inmate's sentence, it may notify the sentencing judge and invite him to express his views on the proposed action.Ga.
