Section 6 CCR 1007-3-100.2.23 - INTERIM PERMITS FOR UIC WELLSThe Director may issue a permit under this part to any Class I UIC well (see 40 CFR § 122.32) injecting hazardous wastes until such time as the State has an EPA- approved UIC program. Any such permit shall apply and insure compliance with all applicable requirements of Part 264, Subpart R of these regulations, and shall be for a term not to exceed two years. Any permit under this section shall contain a condition providing that it will terminate upon final action by the Director under a UIC program to issue or deny a UIC permit for the facility.
