(a) To each plant granted a license an official number shall be assigned. Such number shall be used to identify all poultry meat and products prepared in the plant. More than one number shall not be assigned to a plant.(b) Two or more official plants under the same ownership or control may be granted the same official number, provided a serial letter is added in each case to identify each plant and the products thereof.(c) No poultry meat or products shall be handled or prepared in an official plant or official establishment for a subsidiary of the proprietor or operator, nor shall any article handled or prepared therein be sold by or in the name of a subsidiary of the proprietor or operator, unless such subsidiary is named in an application of the plant, for approval and license, and is granted license in such plant, under these regulations.(d) Each official plant or establishment shall be separate and distinct from any non-licensed plant in which any product is handled, and from any other non-licensed plant or establishment at the discretion of the Department.Cal.
