CARLOS RODRIGUEZ ZUNIGA, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee
On Appeal from the Criminal District Court No. 6 Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause Nos. F21-40350-X, F19-57743-X, F21-175380-X & F20-71001-X
ORDER
ROBERT D. BURNS, III CHIEF JUSTICE
We REINSTATE these appeals.
We abated because the judgment in cause number 05-22-00118-CR (trial court cause number F20-71001-X) was not in the clerk's record or in OnBase. In fact, the clerk's record in 05-22-00118-CR contained a February 11, 2022 judgment out of the 292nd Judicial District Court in an unrelated case.
On June 21, 2022, a supplemental clerk's record containing the trial court's judgment in 05-22-00118-CR (trial court cause number F20-71001-X) was filed; shortly thereafter, a corrected supplemental clerk's record containing the trial court's judgment and the trial court's findings of fact was filed. We ADOPT the trial court's findings that (1) the district clerk found the judgment and (2) the original judgment now appears on OnBase in the correct cause number.
We STRIKE the supplemental clerk's record filed at 3:22 PM on June 21, 2022.
We ORDER appellant's brief due on July 25, 2022.
We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Jeanine Howard, Presiding Judge, Criminal District Court No. 6; and to counsel for all parties.
