In Re SIMON ZAROUR, Debtor, v. JP MORGAN CHASE BANK, Appellee. SIMON ZAROUR, Appellant,
ORDER
Vincent L. Briccetti, U.S.D.J.
By Order dated July 20, 2022, the Court denied without prejudice plaintiff's motion for permission for electronic case filing (Doc. #8), because appellant failed to indicate that he completed the Court's CM/ECF introduction course. (Doc. #12). To date, appellant has not refiled the electronic filing form with the date on which appellant completed the course. In, addition, appellant has not filed any consent to receive electronic service of notices and documents in this action.
On October 4, 2022, appellant filed a letter requesting an extension of time to file his brief. (Doc. #11). It appears the letter was filed electronically. The Court granted appellant's request by Text Order dated October 5, 2022. However, because appellant does not appear to be receiving electronic service in this action, the Court mailed a copy of the Text Order to appellant's address on the docket.
Accordingly, it is hereby ORDERED that if appellant seeks to receive electronic service of notice and documents in this action, he must contact the ECF Help Desk at (212) 805-0136 for assistance. In the alternative, appellant may file a consent to receive electronic service in this action, a copy of which will be attached to this Order.
By October 12, 2022, appellant is directed to file on the ECF docket either the consent to electronic service form or a status update advising the Court on the status of his efforts to receive electronic service.
Chambers will mail a copy of this Order to appellant at the address on the docket.
