Marmar Zahabi Petitioner v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

MAURICE B. FOLEY, CHIEF JUDGE

On December 8, 2021, the Court issued an Order to Show Cause, directing the parties to show cause why this case should not be closed on the ground of duplication with respect to petitioner's case at Docket No. 5010-21S. On December 13, 2021, respondent filed an answer to the petition, asserting therein that this case should be closed on the ground of duplication, as in this case and in petitioner's case at Docket No. 5010-21S petitioner seeks review with respect to his 2017 tax year. No response has been received from petitioner. Upon review of the records in the two cases, this case appears duplicative of petitioner's case at Docket No. 5010-21S.

In view of the foregoing, it is

ORDERED that the Court's Order to Show Cause, issued December 8, 2021, is made absolute. It is further

ORDERED that this case is closed on the ground of duplication with respect to petitioner's case at Docket No. 5010-21S.
