ORDER

Giving due regard to the representations contained in respondent's motion for leave to file motion for continuance, filed April 12, 2024, it is

ORDERED that the above-referenced motion is granted, and respondent's motion for continuance shall be filed as of the date of service of this Order. It is further

ORDERED that respondent's motion for continuance is set for hearing when the case is called from the calendar at the time, date and place shown in the Notice Setting Case for Trial, served January 30, 2024. It is further

ORDERED that the parties need not comply with the obligations imposed upon them in the Standing Pretrial Order, served January 30, 2024.

The Court is inclined to grant the motion. The hearing will focus on the future actions the parties intend to take to prepare the case for trial or to resolve it without the need for one.
