Before the Court is appellant's May 9, 2017 motion for an extension of time to file a corrected brief. In her motion, appellant explains that she has been "dealing with my sickness and a bankruptcy." In light of the bankruptcy filing, the Court will take no action on appellant's motion.
Appellant's bankruptcy filing automatically suspends further action in this appeal. See TEX. R. APP. P. 8.2. Accordingly, we ABATE this appeal. It may be reinstated on prompt motion by any party complying with Rule 8.3 and specifying what further action, if any, is required from this Court. See TEX. R. APP. P. 8.3.
