OPINION

Pro se plaintiff EvAngel YHWNnewBN has moved to add several defendants to this lawsuit. This particular motion is moot because I have already granted YHWNnewBN leave to add defendants in open court on April 3, 2003. What she must now do is either file her proposed third amended complaint or respond to defendants' pending motions to dismiss the second Amended Consolidated Complaint. She now has until May 8, 2003 to do so. If she fails to do so (without leave of this court), I will proceed with ruling on the motions as they stand briefed.

From her filing of this motion, YHWNnewBN may have misunderstood my April 3 ruling. In amending her second Amended Consolidated Complaint to add new defendants, she must submit an entirely new or revised complaint incorporating the new allegations against each new defendant. Were YHWNnewBN simply to repeat the statements made in her motion regarding each defendant she wishes to add, this would not be sufficient. For each new defendant, she must allege what he or she did and when he or she did it.

For the above reasons, YHWNnewBN's Motion to Add Defendants as the Investigation Continues is DENIED as moot. Status set for May 1 is stricken and reset for 10:00 a.m. on May 8, 2003.
