Mack B. Yates v. Harris County


ORDER Trial court case number: 2014-67727 Trial court: 113th District Court of Harris County

On June 7, 2016, we forwarded to the trial court clerk an affidavit of indigence filed in this Court by Mack B. Yates. We ordered any contest to the affidavit to be filed within ten days after the trial court clerk received the affidavit. We further requested the trial court clerk or court reporter to forward the clerk's record and hearing record of any hearing or orders or to file a status report by June 24, 2016. No response to our order has been filed.

Accordingly, we issue the following order:

(1) If no contest was filed, the trial court must notify this Court within ten days of this order;

(2) If a contest was filed, a clerk's record containing that contest, any order by the trial court regarding the contest or affidavit of indigence, and any other relevant documents shall be filed no later than August 31, 2016; and

(3) If a hearing was held on the contest, a reporter's record of the hearing shall be filed no later than August 31, 2016.
