FROM THE 460TH DISTRICT COURT OF TRAVIS COUNTY NO. D-1-DC-19-300876, THE HONORABLE SELENA ALVARENGA, JUDGE PRESIDING

Before Chief Justice Byrne, Justices Triana and Kelly

ORDER

PER CURIAM

Appellant's brief was first due September 27, 2023. Because no brief was filed in response to this Court's notice of late brief, we abated this appeal and remanded the cause to the district court, which appointed new counsel for appellant. After reinstatement of the appeal on April 12, 2024, this Court granted appellant's motion for extension of time to August 28, 2024, for a total of 92 additional days. Appellant has filed a second motion for extension of time seeking an additional 61 days to file his brief, which would make the brief due October 28, 2024. We grant the motion and extend the deadline to October 28, 2024. Further motions for extension will be disfavored.

It is ordered.
