MEMORANDUM OPINION

On January 5, 2006, we ordered the parties in this case to mediation. On March 8, 2006, the mediator notified this Court that the case had settled. On March 23, 2006, we sent appellant a letter requesting that he file a motion to dismiss the appeal within ten days. On April 4, 2006, we received a letter from appellant indicating the parties needed another week to complete the settlement agreement and to submit a motion to dismiss the appeal. When we did not receive a motion to dismiss by April 26, 2006, we sent appellant another letter requesting that he file, within ten days, a motion to dismiss the appeal or a motion to abate the appeal if he needed more time to complete the settlement agreement. We warned appellant that if he failed to comply with our directives within the time allowed, the appeal was subject to dismissal without further notice. Appellant has not filed a motion to dismiss, a motion to abate the appeal, or otherwise communicated with this Court regarding this appeal. Accordingly, on the Court's own motion, we DISMISS the appeal. See Tex.R.App.P. 42.3(b), (c).
