Wrightsville Health Holdings, LLC v. Buckner

Court of Appeals of North Carolina.
Feb 21, 2017
796 S.E.2d 136 (N.C. Ct. App. 2017)

Summary

In Wright, the court held a contractual provision requiring the architects to supervise the construction of the facility would be "meaningless were the architects not responsible... for detecting and correcting material deviations by the contractor from the requirements of the plan and specifications," and thus plaintiffs properly alleged a cause of action against the architects for failing to properly supervise the work of subcontractors.
