TERRY L. WRIGHT & CHERYL A. WRIGHT, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

L. Paige Marvel, Judge.

On May 10, 2023, the parties filed a Joint Motion to Proceed Remotely and a Joint Motion to Modify Order. In the Joint Motion to Modify Order the parties requested an extension of various deadlines of the Court's Pretrial Order dated July 14, 2022, and also requested that the Court streamline the trial of this case to a two-day remote trial in September 2023. On May 12, 2023, the Court issued an Order that granted so much of the parties' Joint Motion to Modify Order that requested to extend the May 15, 2023, deadlines and held in abeyance all other matters requested in the parties' motion.

On May 24, 2023, the Court issued an Order that cancelled the trial of this case scheduled to begin June 26, 2023, in Atlanta, Georgia, and granted the parties' Joint Motion to Proceed Remotely and calendared this case for a two-day remote session scheduled for September 20 and September 21, 2023. Because the Court's Order dated May 24, 2023, provides the pretrial schedule for the remaining pretrial preparation and remote trial for this case, the Court will deny as moot the parties' Joint Motion to Modify Order that was held in abeyance. Accordingly, it is

ORDERED that the so much of the parties' Joint Motion to Modify Order, filed May 10, 2023, that was held in abeyance, is denied as moot.
