CLARENCE WORD, Defendant Below-Appellant, v. STATE OF DELAWARE, Plaintiff Below-Appellee. No. 647, 2002. Supreme Court of Delaware. Submitted: April 4, 2003. Decided: May 27, 2003.

ORDER

This 27th day of May 2003, upon consideration of parties' briefs and the record below, it appears to the Court that this appeal should be affirmed on the basis of the Superior Court's well-reasoned decision dated November 7, 2002. The Superior Court did not err in denying Word's postconviction claims of ineffective assistance of counsel. Furthermore, the Superior Court did not abuse its discretion in permitting the State to file its response to Word's lengthy petition and amendment to the petition out of time.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the judgment of the Superior Court is AFFIRMED.
