WOOTEN (ROSEMARY) v. STATE BAR OF CALIFORNIA


Order: (dispositive)

The State Bar is directed to determine if applicant Rosemary Wooten (the applicant) was provided with, and able to access, the correct remote exam information for the June 2020 First-Year Law Students' Examination on the exam date and, if the exam information was not provided to and accessible by the applicant, or if that determination cannot be made with certainty, to permit the applicant to take the next regularly scheduled exam in satisfaction of a fourth examination as permitted pursuant to Business and Professions Code section 6060, subdivision (h)(3) and Rules of the State Bar, rule 4.31(B). Alternatively, the State Bar may elect to forgo further investigation and to permit the applicant to take the next regularly scheduled exam in satisfaction of a fourth examination as permitted pursuant to Business and Professions Code section 6060, subdivision (h)(3) and Rules of the State Bar, rule 4.31(B). If the applicant takes the next regularly scheduled First-Year Law Students' Examination pursuant to this order, she is not required to pay the fee for that First-Year Law Students' Examination.
