APPEALED FROM 159TH DISTRICT COURT IN AND FOR ANGELINA COUNTY, TEXAS

ORDER

THIS DAY came on for review the Court of Criminal Appeals' opinion, issued on February 10, 2021 and mandate issued on March 8, 2021, (both of which are attached hereto), and the same being inspected, it is ORDERED that this cause be remanded to the trial court for appointment of new counsel to represent/aid Appellant in obtaining a meaningful appeal, and that such appointment be certified to this Court on or before Friday, April 9, 2021.

It is FURTHER ORDERED that a brief on behalf of the Appellant must be filed within thirty (30) days from the date of the order appointing new counsel. The State shall have thirty (30) days from the date Appellant's brief is filed to file its brief.
