No. 05-09-00475-CV (Tex. App. Sep. 22, 2009)

Opinion

No. 05-09-00475-CV

Opinion issued September 22, 2009.

On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 4, Dallas County, Texas, Trial Court Cause No. CC-08-09889-D.

Before Justices MORRIS, BRIDGES, and MURPHY.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

In this appeal, appellant filed a brief that is wholly deficient. By later dated August 17, 2009, this Court notified appellant of the deficiencies and directed appellant to file, within ten days, an amended brief that corrected the deficiencies. We further informed appellant that failure to file an amended brief that complies with Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 38.1 within ten days would result in dismissal of the appeal without further notice. To date, appellant has not filed an amended brief correcting the deficiencies identified in the August 17, 2009 letter. Accordingly, we strike appellant's brief and dismiss the appeal. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.9(a), 42.3(c).
